ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule Announcement Live Update: Defending champions India will find out their schedule for their title defence at next year’s T20 World Cup when the schedule is released shortly. The schedule announcement will reveal dates and venues for the 20-team tournament, that is scheduled to run from February to March across India and Sri Lanka. One of the biggest interests in the T20 World Cup schedule reveal will be when India will meet Pakistan.
The 2026 T20 World Cup tournament will be played in the same format as the 2024 event, that India won defeating South Africa. The 20 teams who have qualified will be placed in four different groups of five sides each. Then, the will play the Super Eight stage where the top two finishers from each group will compete. Then the top two four sides will compete in the semi-finals.

This year’s edition will also have teams like Canada, Italy, Nepal, the Netherlands, Namibia among top sides like India, England, Australia and New Zealand.
