India U19 vs Australia U19 Match Cricket Score: Jayden Draper smashed a century off just 65 balls but could not prevent Australia U19 losing the second Youth ODI to India U19 by 51 runs at Brisbane’s Ian Healy Oval on Wednesday. With Australia chasing 301, Draper had almost singlehandedly kept Australia in the chase despite the side losing six wickets. But with Draper falling for 107, the Australia team’s chase dropped dead.
At one stage early in their innings, Australia lost three wickets, including that of stand-in captain Yash Deshmukh, for just one run, going from 63-1 to 64-4. But then Alex Lee Young and Draper put on a 42-run partnership to rekindle hopes of a comeback. It proved to be a false dawn as Australia again lost two quick wickets with 109 runs on board.
